"Let‘s start by taking a smalish nap or two.." - Winnie the Pooh

Life among humans is pure madness. Strong waves, ferocious winds and uncertainties at present.

Fear is truly eating souls. Fatigue, burn outs, anxiety, depression and dementia has become the new normal.

For goodness sake — I want a culture where wellbeing and care is key to our living together.

Are we capable of creating new habits to restore ourselves? Can we see a way out of this disorder?

Is it possible to remind each other to take care, to self-care?

I trust, we can!

However, first i believe we need to see and accept that ignorance to our bodies is taking us down and making us sick. Addiction seems to be the chosen tool for numbing ourselves.

This needs to drastically change. Can we see this as an opportunity to evolve through the aching challenges of life?

In my opinion we require a new support and care system with a myriad of therapists that work with the whole of our human. I am committed to fully supporting empowerment into self- care and am convinced we need to consciously leave the field of medical dependency.

It seems to me, we are asleep during day time, and sleeplessly awake at night.

Our bodies are tired. Nervous systems are screaming for restoration. Our day and night rhythms are confused.

Can you see something is off? More importantly, where do we begin the journey for our body‘s restoration and healing?

As a start, I feel it is utterly vital to celebrate moments, as well as beautifying our lives.

To rest up, love up, play more and remind ourselves of the things that truly matter.

Ask yourself what matters to you? What is your body saying „no“ to?

For me, sleep is medicine number one. Essential and powerful healing happens at night.

Let us look at sleep hygiene, my loves!

What is the actual relationship between a good sleep and a good life?

How much energy is truly needed for nourishing sleep, and self restoration?

Did you know that during deep sleep we both clean out our daily brain sludge and support ourselves with essential mental processing?

Often overlooked, essential for restorative sleep is having energy left before going to bed. To facilitate our body in removing toxins and psychological stresses it takes fuel. Hence going to sleep when we are tired, is a false belief. To digest all stress accumulated, it is neccessary to go to sleep before 11pm.

In Chinese medicine 11pm-1am is the restoration time of the Gall Bladder, and 1am- 3am is the restoration time of the Liver. To wake feeling energized the body needs to be at rest during these times as this is when our nervous system is rebuilding. This Yang energy is an essential resource during daytime to keep active and to restore when you are asleep.
