Chi Nei Tsang Berlin - Tao Touch® approach

Chi Nei Tsang | Tao Touch® is a form of somatic, intuitive hands-on bodywork with a focus on the abdomen and internal organs.

At its core are patterns of tension in the tissue, as well as processes within digestion, breathing, and the autonomic nervous system.

I work with precise, attentive touch within the tissue. Tension becomes perceptible in the body and can shift over the course of a session.

The abdomen is closely connected to digestion, breathing, and autonomic regulation. In this work, stress, overload, and emotional processes often become noticeable through the body.

A session does not follow a fixed sequence. I orient myself to what is perceptible in the body — tension, density, movement, or reduced sensory awareness.

The touch is precise and can be both gentle and more distinct. It supports awareness within the tissue and shifts in holding patterns.

Over time, body awareness often develops toward greater differentiation and clarity.

Abdomen

The abdomen is a central area for digestive processes, breathing, and the autonomic nervous system.

Here, the effects of stress, overload, and inner tension often become noticeable.

The work takes place directly in this area through touch and tissue perception.

How this work can support you

It can support you in times of abdominal tension, digestive discomfort, as well as cyclical processes such as menstrual patterns or inner restlessness expressed through the body.

In phases of stress, exhaustion, or emotional overwhelm, a space can open in which the system is relieved and more time for integration and processing can emerge.

Many people also come with sleep difficulties, headaches, tension patterns, or breathing restrictions that appear under stress.

The work can also meet places where there is a sense of not fully arriving in the body, or feeling internally disconnected or unsettled.

Some also bring themes around fertility or the desire to reconnect with trust and relationship to the body.

Tension patterns in the tissue and scar areas can also be part of the work, as well as the wish to refine body awareness and deepen self-perception.

Many people report after a session a sense of inner lightness and clarity.

Scars

Scar tissue can also be part of the intention of the work. Through precise touch, tissue mobility can change, and tension patterns may reorganise.

Understanding of the work

Chi Nei Tsang means “work with the energy of the internal organs.”

For me, the focus is on concrete physical work — within tissue, perception, and the body’s internal processes.

Development over time

Over time, a more stable and clearer bodily experience can develop.

In traditional Chinese medicine, the abdominal area is described as a central region for physical and emotional processes.

Pricing

You are welcome to begin with a single session and experience the work.

A single session can already bring relief or insight. However, this work unfolds more deeply over time – through learning to rest, to digest, to integrate, and to find greater ease in daily life. With continuity, the body begins to reorganise, stabilise, and follow its own rhythm, allowing for a more coherent internal experience to develop. It is a living practice in which change gradually becomes embodied.

If you are unsure, we can decide together after the first session what feels appropriate for you.

Initial session (120 min) — 160 €
Initial session (90 min) — 120 €
Recurring session (90 min) — 120 €

6-session series (90 min each) — 660 €

The series supports continuity and allows the work to unfold more gradually over time.

If financial circumstances are a concern, you are welcome to reach out. We can find a way that makes the work accessible.

Practical Details

Sessions take place in Berlin Mitte.
Please note: the studio room is on the 4th floor without elevator access.

Sessions are offered in German and English.

Cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. After that, the full fee applies.

Sessions take place fully clothed. For the hands-on work, the abdominal area is gently accessed by adjusting clothing to the level of the solar plexus and down to the iliac crest (hip bones). If this feels unfamiliar or sensitive, we move at a pace that feels right for you. The work is always adapted to where you are, and your comfort and boundaries are respected throughout.

I recommend soft, comfortable clothing, warm socks, and anything that supports ease — such as an eye mask or personal items that help you feel comfortable.

A session lasts around 90 minutes, including attunement and integration time.

We share tea and a short conversation before and after.

Please allow approximately 120 minutes in total for a calm arrival and gentle return into your day.
