What is Contakids?
Contakids is a class for children between 2-4 years old and their parents. It is a fun, non-hierarchical and non-verbal physical activity that creates a dialogue between parents and their children. At Contakids, through a playful game of body, movement and touch, the parents and their children develop a new and playful communication channel, in which the child improves his motor skills while the parent learns to develop trust in the child and one self.
Everybody is welcome (2 until 99+years ), beginners as well as the dedicated Contakids people from previous courses.
Take one hour of your week and dedicate it to play and connection with your Little One. What could be more rewarding than that?!
This course is held in german or english depending on your needs. For now 6 dates are set, and most likely we continue in this studio, perhaps we add our action also to the Yoga Delta Friedrichshain in the near future.
Consider your body language as a powerful resource to communicate. It’s our original expression, and a very wise form. In contact improvisation we play with the physical form of communication and built on that. Contakids time is a time to bond with your child, be physical, be soft, listen and feel, together. and most importantly you take the time for your body and experiencing again - we train effortlessly with plenty of laughter and joy! Both adult and child take a lot home!
